Justin Brayton Repeats Podium Performance at Australasian Supercross

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 24, 2010) – Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team rider Justin Brayton repeated his podium performance of last week at the second round of the 2010 Australasian Supercross Series at Canberra Stadium in Canberra, Australia.

In the first of the three-race challenge format Brayton was third after battling fellow American riders Josh Hansen and Kevin Windham. In the second race Brayton pulled the holeshot and led the race before relinquishing the lead to Windham. Brayton was closing the gap to challenge for the lead when he slipped in the whoops allowing two riders to go by him and causing him to finish fourth. In the final race Brayton finished third, earning third overall for the night, and moving him into second place in series points.
“I think it’s really good for this seriesand for us to be able to come out here and race and have the opportunity to raise the profile of the sport. The different formats each week keep it interesting and the racing is always at a high intensity. It is my final round next week and it would be great to finish off with a win,” said Brayton.
The next and final round of the Australasian Supercross Championship Series Brayton will contend will be Oct. 30 at Aurora Stadium in Launceston, Australia.

Brayton’s newly signed teammate Davi Millsaps has settled into his new surroundings and is riding and training in North Carolina focused on his Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team debut at the opening round of the AMA Supercross Championship on Jan. 8 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif.
