The Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team Rider Claims Third at Opening Round

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 17, 2010) – Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team rider Justin Brayton took third overall at the opening round of the 2010 Australasian Supercross Series at Energy Australia Stadium in Newcastle, Australia. Brayton is racing the first three rounds of the series.

In the first of two races determining the overall finish Brayton was knocked down at the start. Re-mounting in dead last, he made a spirited charge through the pack taking the checkers in fifth place. In the second race Brayton started clean in second position behind former supercross and motocross champion Chad Reed. Brayton gave chase throughout the 12-laps finishing second and earning third overall for the night. “My first race didn’t go to plan, but I managed to get a good start in the second so it was a good result. Reed is racing great and it’s good to see him get the win in front of his home crowd. I am really enjoying Australia and looking forward to the next two rounds,” said Brayton. The next round of the Australasian Supercross Championship will be Oct. 23 at Canberra Stadium in Canberra, Australia.

Newly signed Muscle Milk/Toyota/JGRMX Team rider Davi Millsaps, who was injured over the summer is in North Carolina at the Muscle Milk Training Facility within the JGRMX headquarters starting a rigorous training program in preparation for the first round of the AMA Supercross Championship on Jan. 8 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, Calif.
