Josh Grant Injury Update

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (January 6, 2010) – Josh Grant was injured yesterday while practicing at a private facility near Temecula, Calif. Grant crashed negotiating a difficult whoop section and was thrown off the bike into an embankment. He suffered a broken nose and is sore and bruised.

His condition will be evaluated by his doctor daily and he hopes to be released and on the gate at Angel Stadium this Saturday, Jan. 9 in Anaheim, Calif. for the opening round of the 2010 AMA Supercross Championship. Grant, who won the first round of the series last year in Anaheim, is a determined competitor who has raced many times while recovering from injury, however, the decision to race will be made by Josh and his doctor. Josh will attend the pre-series press conference scheduled for tomorrow at noon (PST) at Angel Stadium (broadcast live at www.supercrossonline.com to Supercross Live members).

The opening round of the 2010 AMA Supercross Championship will air live on SPEED at 10:00 p.m. (EST).
